Here's a map showing the location of Whitecliff Park. It's about a half mile north of the Grant's Farm parking lot entrance on Grant Road.
When you see this sign, you've arrived at the park.
Soon after entering the park, the road will split. Keep left and go across the bridge. Don't worry about the sign saying the gate will be locked. We'll leave before that happens.
After you cross the bridge, follow these red arrows past the community center to the far western parking lot. Park somewhere near the red rectangle. The party will be in the gazebo near the tennis and basketball courts (small red circle). The playground is the larger red circle near the top of the picture. If we can't use that gazebo (it can't be reserved) we might end up in the larger gazebo near the playground (red rectangle).
After the food and fun, Dad will hand out parking passes and we'll all go to Grant's Farm. Simply turn right out of the park, follow Grant Road until you see the entrance to Grant's Farm (shown above). You can't miss it - there will be hundreds of people lined up to get into the farm. Notice that you won't be able to turn left into the parking lot. You'll have to pass it up then turn around at the entrance to the national historic site. Let's all try to gather in the entrance area before taking the tram and we can get a group picture.
